A student of physics, Reza AmirArjomand has always been astonished by observing the nature especially the part which seems beyond our reach. His activities in the field of astronomy are varied from being a tour guide in a science center, making telescopes remotely controllable, writing content for e-lessons, to organizing observing nights for public. He is currently the president of the Astronomy and Physics Club at Saddleback College and also serves as a trustee of Orange County Astronomers. He could be reached at Reza@Astronomy4You.com.

Shelia Cassidy fell in love with the stars in her native Washington State at an early age. There were times when she could see the Northern Lights in the winter, one sight she really missed after coming south to California. However, it was only years later when she could afford the first of many telescopes that she could really begin to enjoy the stars. Her first telescope was a 4 1/2 inch reflector that she bought from Tom Cave. It was all her budget would tolerate at the time. But that small beginning was followed by a Jagers 6 inch refractor, a Celestron C-8 and finally a Meade 12 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain. Her fascination with the planets remains but now she is also more concerned with near earth objects and comets. And of course, the Horsehead Nebula in Orion remains a personal favorite. Presently an OCA Trustee, she also volunteers for docent work at Palomar Observatory. She can be reached at Shelia@Astronomy4You.com.
